What the Inniskillings Museum expects from you as a volunteer…

Over the next few years volunteers will be very important to the Inniskillings Museum and we will value your commitment and support. However, we will ask the following of you:

  • Be on time and perform your role to the best of your ability
  • Treat information regarding the museum and other volunteers and staff as confidential
  • Take part in as many of the offered training sessions as possible particularly Health and Safety and knowledge of the Inniskillings and Enniskillen Castle
  • Be polite and courteous demonstrating good customer care to everybody when representing the museum
  • Look clean and tidy, dress appropriately and wear your name-badge
  • Call the museum if you are unable to attend as arranged or if you are going to be late
  • Do all you can to make a visit to the Inniskillings Museum enjoyable and rewarding for visitors and other volunteers
  • Avoid actions which might reflect badly on the Inniskillings Museum or Enniskillen Castle
  • Not to accept artefacts or other items on behalf of the Inniskillings Museum
  • Inform the Curator-Manager of any problems, dangers, accidents or vandalism immediately
  • Sign in and out when arriving and leaving the site for safety reasons
  • Familiarise yourself with the First Aid Box and the First Aid procedures
